The website name mimi’s comes from “mimizu” meaning “worm” in Japanese, which in turn is said to come from “me miezu” meaning “eyes can’t see”. After several years, I still can’t look at them as adorable, but I have enormous respect and gratitude for them.
Birth
It was quite quick and I couldn’t record it in video.

In April 2023, I notice so many worms are mating, and I took photos and uploaded them in Substack to raise awareness.
